• So, Governor Kemp says we must maintain social distancing but, among other things, opened barbershops. Please explain how a barber can stay 6 feet away from me and still cut my hair?

• That hit song by The Police, “Don’t Stand so Close to Me,” is finally starting to make sense to me.

• It’s the same with these people. You know who. Money above people’s lives. Think about the air quality and clean water. Do they care?

• I think The Griffin Daily News had a typo in a headline for a letter to the editor that I read online. The headline was “Our nation is in good hands,” but I think it should have been “Our nation is in goofy hands.”

• I am going to move to another country if they cancel football this fall. God intended for Americans to play high school football on Friday, college football on Saturday and pro football on Sunday. Thank you.

• It is terrible that people are getting sick and dying from COVID-19. But, the one good thing to come out of this is the social distancing. I love this policy, and I hope it becomes a permanent policy. Then I won’t have to tell people to get out of my face anymore.

• 2020 may turn out to be a banner year for the Georgia Tech football team. It looks like they could go undefeated.
