• I disagree with the weirdo who eats fake meat. Meat, and beef in particular, is the foundation of America’s greatness, and beef made this country what it is today. I wonder if this person also holds communist views?

• My son-in-law’s problem? His brain is on vacation, but his mouth is working overtime.

• I don’t believe any of these so-called experts about coronavirus, but I do believe random comments I see on Facebook and Twitter. After all, if it’s on social media it has to be true, especially if my cousin Billy Joe Jim Bob posts it.

• If the police want to catch a lot of criminals, all they need to do is have stakeouts in the parking lots of tattoo parlors.

• My son-in-law is like the Energizer bunny. His mouth goes on and on and on and on ...

• There are those who think that social distancing and wearing masks and sheltering in place to protect the elderly and other high-risk citizens is unnecessary and that it violates your freedom and rights. Many of these same elderly people were drafted into the military, gave up years of their lives, saw friends die, and suffered mental and physical wounds to protect your right to whine and complain about having to wear a mask and stay at home for awhile.

• America today is a place where people will believe the wackiest and craziest conspiracy theories as long as it supports their own nutty opinions and worldviews, but they won’t accept actual facts and truth. We have long ceased to seek out truth in this country, but only want to have our own viewpoints validated, no matter how extreme, stupid or ludicrous they are.

• Hard times. Just because you have to wear a mask and stay at home doesn’t mean you are suffering. Inconvenienced? Yes. Suffering? No. The vast majority of Americans don’t know what a hard time is. Try living without electricity, running water, indoor plumbing and other modern conveniences, then you will know what a hard time really is.

• Constitutional rights. It doesn’t surprise me that many of these folks who are complaining about how wearing masks violates their rights also don’t seem to be concerned about the constitutional rights of minorities and the poor.

• About a week or so ago, a friend of mine was all giddy about getting a letter from Donald Trump. She was acting like those teen girls in the 1950s who were swooning over Elvis, because she actually thought it was a personalized letter from Trump himself. How many millions of those form letters were sent out and how ignorant and stupid can you be to think it was an actual personal letter?

• I love Donald Trump, but he’s not quite the greatest president we have ever had. Don’t get me wrong, I do think he’s done an excellent job, but he’s not quite as good as Richard Nixon (yet). I can’t wait until he beats the tar out of Clueless Joe and we have four more years.

• It is disgusting that the hoarders are snatching up all the cleaning supplies and meat, depriving others. Greed is one of the seven deadly sins.

• To the person who made the statement about Kelly Loeffler: I agree with you. The commercial they are playing about her caring about Georgians, isn’t true. She’s trying to get rid of the $3 million she got from selling her stocks. Who in their right mind would let a third-party person decide on what stock to sell? I know you are suppose to have control over your own stocks.
