Mrs. Helen C. Beck, age 84, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at her residence.
Helen was born in Marietta, Georgia, on May 30, 1938. Her parents, Ernest Avery Whelchel and Bertha Bruce Whelchel, and husband, Harry Beck Jr. all preceded her in death.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Ronnie Free, Peggy Johnson, Winfred Sorrows, and Brenda Vaughn; sisters, Shirley Sisk, andMarie Griffin and her husband, Horace. She has several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A visitation was held from 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 13, at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service followed in the chapel. Interment was in Westwood Gardens.
Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 W. McIntosh Road, Griffin, is in charge of the arrangements.
