William R. "Bill" Boyd Jr.

William R. “Bill” Boyd Jr., age 96, of Griffin, passed away on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022.

Bill was born in Griffin, Georgia, on April 16, 1926. His wife, Dorothy T. “Dot” Boyd, and sons, Danny Boyd and David Boyd, preceded him in death. Bill was former owner/operator of the Gulf Service Station in Griffin and was a farmer. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II.
