A woman who had been wanted in connection to an Aug. 31 fatal shooting at the Quality Inn on North Expressway has been arrested.

According to the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office daily bulletin, R’vaunte Rnece Cecilia Frazer, 28, 28, 109 Sherrin Parkway, Griffin, was arrested Oct. 14.

Frazer was one of two suspects who were originally thought to be armed robbery victims in that case but were actually accomplices, according to the SCSO. The other alleged accomplice is Sonya Fuller, the mother of Joshua Ray Fuller, who had been arrested for the murder of Anthony Reid.

According to the SCSO, Frazer and Sonya Fuller were both wanted by U.S. Marshals for party to crime-murder, party to crime-robbery, and hindering apprehension. As of Thursday, Sonya Fuller had not been arrested yet.

According to the SCSO's weekly jail report, Frazer has been charged with murder, hindering apprehension or punishment of a criminal, and armed robbery.

Joshua Ray Fuller was bound over to Superior Court in September by Spalding County Chief Magistrate Judge Rita Cavanaugh.

Fuller, 28, of 6654 Lamar Hutcheson Parkway, Riverdale, was bound over with no bond on the following charges — malice murder, felony murder, one count of armed robbery with a deadly weapon, one count of aggravated assault with intent to rob, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

A second man, Troy Stanley Edgar (Joshua Ray Fuller’s uncle), 48, of 828 E. McIntosh Road, Griffin, was charged by the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office with murder and armed robbery on Sept. 12. Edgar had previously been charged with hindering the apprehension of a fugitive and tampering with evidence.

Kristen Elaine Fuller (Joshua Ray Fuller’s sister), 26, whose address was listed as 2014 N. Expressway, Room 231, Griffin, was charged with hindering the apprehension of a fugitive and tampering with evidence.

At about 3:30 a.m. on Aug. 31, Spalding County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call of a person shot at the Quality Inn at 2014 N. Expressway, Griffin, according to a SCSO press release.

When deputies arrived, they found a man identified as Reid, who had sustained two gunshot wounds to the leg, lying on the floor of Room 204.

According to Spalding County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Eraste Trahan’s testimony at the September preliminary hearing, Joshua Ray Fuller was seen on video footage going into Room 204 and gunshots were heard. Joshua Ray Fuller left Room 204 and and also seen going into Room 227 (his room), Room 231 (Kristen Fuller’s room), and Room 216 (Edgar’s room).

Officers found Joshua Ray Fuller in Room 216. Trahan also said Dennis Dwayne Scott was in Room 216 and according to SCSO jail reports, Scott, 54, 104 Elizabeth St., Griffin, was arrested Sept. 18 for hindering apprehension or punishment of a criminal.

Trahan said some physical evidence at the scene included — what appeared to be blood on a hoodie, a 9mm handgun found in Room 227 between mattresses, shoes in Room 231, several items with blood in Room 216, what appeared to be bloody footprints from Room 204 to Room 227, about $3,000 in cash with what appeared to be blood on it, and 9mm shell casings in Room 204.

Trahan said Reid had gotten a $6,000 advance on a credit card and it was believed that the $3,000 was part of that money.

According to Trahan, Frazer and Sonya Fuller were in Room 204 when Reid was alleged shot by Joshua Ray Fuller but they could not identify Joshua Ray Fuller as the shooter.

Trahan also said that Kristen Fuller and Sonya Fuller operated as prostitutes out of Quality Inn and three of the rooms were in Sonya Fuller’s name.
