A Griffin man accused of child pornography was bound over to Superior Court on Tuesday.

Brian M. Brinkerhoff, 39, of 223 Birdie Road, Griffin, is charged with computer pornography and five counts of obscene internet contact with a child.

In a preliminary hearing Tuesday, Spalding County Chief Magistrate Judge Rita Cavanaugh bound over Brinkerhoff on all charges with no bond.

Brinkerhoff, 39, was arrested on Computer Pornography and Child Exploitation Prevention Act charges in August.

According to information from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the GBI received four cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tips were in reference to a submission from Facebook which identified an account of Brian Brinkerhoff aka Jake Moore.

According to a Spalding County Sheriff’s Office jail report, Brinkerhoff had also been arrested April 24. Those charges were sodomy-aggravated sodomy, incest, child molestation-aggravated child molestation, and aggravated sexual battery.
