Breakfast, lunch is served

Food service workers at Cowan Road Middle School hand out multi-day breakfast and lunch packets on Tuesday afternoon. Starting on Tuesday, Jan. 12, all Griffin-Spalding County School students and children in the community will be able to pick up the packets at no charge. Pick-up will be at the bus ramp of seven local schools every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., as long as the schools are virtual. Pick-up locations include Anne Street Elementary (802 Anne St.), Atkinson Elementary (307 Atkinson Drive), Beaverbrook Elementary (251 Birdie Road), Carver Road Middle (2186 Carver Road), Cowan Road Middle (1185 Cowan Road), Griffin High (1617 Poplar St.) and Spalding High (433 Wilson Road).
