Bibb investigators identify persons of interest in Thursday homicide

Surveillance cameras at a Bibb County Circle K store captured the images of the two persons of interest wanted for questioning about a Thursday morning homicide.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators have identified both persons of interest wanted for questioning in a early Thursday morning homicide.

Divine Taylor and 19-year-old Divinity Taylor, both 19 and of Macon, are wanted for questioning in connection with the early Thursday morning death of Brandon Washington.

Deputies responded around 1:30 a.m. Thursday to reports of a death at the Circle K convenience store on Zebulon Road in Bibb County. Deputies then found Washington, 23, lying outside of his vehicle and suffering from a gunshot wound, according to information released Thursday by the BCSO.

Washington was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two persons of interest were last seen in a 1995 white Dodge Ram work van.

Investigators are working to determine the events surrounding the shooting.
