'Sweeney Todd': Camelot takes on its most complex musical in theatre's history

Camelot Theatre celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and what better way to do that is to put on the biggest, most complex musical in its history: “Sweeney Todd”.
Stephen Sondheim wrote the music and lyrics for “Sweeney Todd” back in the seventies. It was based on a penny dreadful story called “The String of Pearls,” which dates back to 1846. Sweeney has been ranked by many as Sondheim’s best.
