Spalding High School art students brought their creative visions to life Wednesday as they began painting their designs to beautify two crosswalks on 6th Street in downtown Griffin.
Nataly Cruz-Reyes, Grace Goodman and Maya Eurich,
all 10th-grade students,
were recognized for their designs created for a crosswalk art beautification project
made possible by the City of Griffin and members of Griffin’s Downtown Art Beautification Committee,
SHS art instructor Laurie Eurich said Wednesday.
Eurich said the students tried their best to complete the project Wednesday but will be returning to finish up Thursday morning.
“They look fantastic so
far,” she said Wednesday evening of the paintings.
