GRIFFIN — Crescent Elementary and Futral Road Elementary recently held art shows at their school campuses.
Crescent Elementary’s Art Expo is a recurring event. This year, students could participate in an array of artistic expressions, such as marble painting and paper bag puppets. Student artwork was on display gallery-style in the cafeteria and available for parent purchase for fundraising. The school also boasted a Glow Gallery, featuring student artwork that glowed in the dark.
Futral Road hosted their first-ever Art Show on March 8. Student artwork was set up in gallery form, which was also available for purchase as a fundraiser for the school. ‘Stache Studio provided a mural for the students to decorate during the show.
