Mr. Crumbley was born on Nov. 8, 1941, in Hogansville, Ga., to the late Marvin Russell Crumbley Sr. and the late Josephine Reynolds Crumbley. He was preceded in death by brother, J.C. Crumbley. Mr. Crumbley liked to fish, play pool and shop at Big Lots.
Mr. Crumbley is survived by his wife, Marion Patrick Crumbley of Milner; sons and daughter-in-law, Marvin Crumbley III and girlfriend Christy Wolcott of Hoschton, Ga., Patrick and Jodie Crumbley of Milner; five adopted grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Jo Greene of Summerville, S.C., Viola and Ralph Capes of Moreland, Ga., Winnett and Ben Crouch of Moreland, Ga.; special nephew, Kenny Crumbley; and numerous nieces and other nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Marvin Russell Crumbley Jr. will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The Rev. Gene Walton will officiate. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, Ga.
