Authorities have charged 47-year-old David William Sullivan with robbery by intimidation in connection with the Tuesday robbery of the United Bank located in Ingles grocery store on Zebulon Road.

According to Spalding County Sheriff Dee Stewart, 47-year-old David William Sullivan, of Griffin, has been arrested in connection to in the Tuesday robbery of the United Bank located in Ingles grocery store on Zebulon Road.

Stewart said he is thankful to those who called Crime Stoppers Atlanta and provided investigators with the necessary information to arrest the suspect.

“The investigators worked long hours following all the leads that were given from the public,” Stewart said.

Authorities say Sullivan did provide a detailed statement of what happened and why.

Sullivan was arrested without incident in Griffin and is currently being held without bond in the Spalding County Jail, charged with robbery by intimidation.
