— I read the Latinos fear being racially profiled now in Arizona. No one likes to be pulled over by the police, but if we are on the road legally we have nothing to fear. We should all be following Arizona’s lead.

— How many law enforcement vehicles and city and county vehicles do you see not using their turn signals or not having their headlights on when it is raining? How can they enforce the law unless they obey it?

— Why would a parent allow their child to kill birds and squirrels for fun? These are God’s creatures.

— I guess I’ll never understand why there is such a big concern about the illegal law passed by Arizona. The definition of illegal is “forbidden by law or official rules.” The United States has a law that states exactly that. Now just why are the politicians against this law, not to mention the 12 million who are here illegally, who are against it? Stop and think how many jobs Americans would have if we deported them like we should.

— To allow the lawbreakers (illegals) to protest and riot against enforcing state and federal laws is a shame. The illegals and their enablers would stop their noise and actions if the news media would boycott them.

— When is the Griffin city utilities department going to get up to date with online bill paying?

— Why do the editor and publisher of The Griffin Daily News never publish editorials? Why does our “local” paper only publish editorials from papers in other Georgia cities? With all that goes on in our wonderful city, one can only wonder why the paper here refuses to openly address any issue.

— I do not know K. Rae Anderson, but I appreciate the daily prayers she publishes in the GDN. Please keep it up.

— I wonder what the public thinks of someone who will steal from a yard sale for Relay for Life. It was a short poem that was attached to a craft, which lost its value when you tore into the package and removed it. We would have gladly let you copy it for yourself. I am praying for you. You may be the next one to have cancer.
