Mrs. Leah Ray Clark, 74, of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Clark was born in Gastonia, N.C., on Aug. 16, 1935, to the late Herman Tate and the late Annie Mae Pledger Tate. Mrs. Clark was a member of the World Harvest Ministries. She was preceded in death by a son, David Clark, granddaughter, Laura Morris, and brother, Roscoe Tate.

Survivors include husband, Donaldson Garrett (D.G.) Clark; children and spouses, Alecia and Mike Goins, Richard Clark, Keith and Sharon Clark, Cindy and Timmy Harrison, Ladonna and Tim Britt, and Kenneth and Rhonda Clark; grandchildren, Sharon and Kendal Bozeman, Karen and Buddy McBride, Jennifer Biles, Stephanie and Jon Johnson, Kelley and Alecia Clark, Tara Clark, Monica and Joey Brady, Jamie and Amanda Harrison, Mallory Clark and Noah Middlebrooks, Kara Clark, Layla Clark and A.J. Moore; and great-grandchildren, Kaleb Bozeman, Kaylee McBride, Trinity Lummus, Taylor Goins, Brittany Fowler, Drew Johnson, Aubrey Clark, Brittan Greene, Gabe Wolfe, Tyler Wolfe, Abigail Brady, Emily Brady, Alexis Harrison, Jayda Harrison, Sean-Michael McClure, and Justin Morris.

Funeral services for Mrs. Clark will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010, in the chapel of the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The Rev. Kendal Bozeman, the Rev. Perry Pace and the Rev. Tony Bailey will officiate. Interment will follow in the Griffin Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
