STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. — The Spalding Lady Jags rebounded from their loss to Luella Saturday by pulling out a tough 45-40 win over the Woodland Lady Wolfpack Tuesday night in Region 4-AAA action on the road.

Kiara Smith led the way for Spalding (14-5 overall, 10-4 region) with 16 points, 4 assists and 3 steals, followed by Shay Williams with 14 points, 5 steals and 4 assists and Shakeva Richards with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks.

“We held them down on the defensive end,” said Lady Jags head coach Demetrius King. “It was a real scrappy game. We went on a run but they clawed their way back.”
