The Spalding High girl’s basketball team (9-3 overall, 5-3 Region 4-AAA) carries a season-best six-game win streak into a critical four-game home stand beginning tonight against Rutland.
The Lady Jags will play Eagle’s Landing Friday, South Atlanta Saturday and Jackson-Atlanta Jan. 26. Why is it so critical? Because the fifth-place lady Jags will try to avenge early season losses to Rutland, Eagle’s Landing and Jackson-Atlanta.
The SHS boy’s (8-5 overall, 6-2 Region 4-AAA), which have won three in a row, currently sit second in the region behind No. 2-state ranked South Atlanta (13-1, 7-0).
