Pike voters reject SPLOST

The proposed Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST), on which Pike County voters cast their ballots Tuesday, was defeated. According to Pike County Probate Court Judge and Election Superintendent Lynn Brandenburg. 989 Pike residents voted “yes,” while 1,297 voted “no.”
