Mr. McCrary was born on Sept. 19, 1931, in Talbot County to the late James Clarence McCrary and the late Henrietta Louise Foster McCrary. He was retired from Red Lobster. Mr. McCrary was a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church.
Survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Richard Cooley, and Pat and R.C. McCurry; brother, Bobby Buford McCrary; sister-in-law, Margaret Sutherland; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for Mr. Earl McCrary will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at Griffin Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Harvey Wilson will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
