— Let’s get rid of the county manager, city and county commissioners, and then maybe we can get the answers to: what happened to the gas that supposedly “leaked” from the tanks years and years ago; why the bridge on 19/41 near Experiment has not been rebuilt since DOT did not condemn it; why SPLOST money collected years ago has not been used to rebuild the senior center on Carver Road as the sign states; why the communication system is not up and running as it should have been long ago. Is it possible that our “leaders” are not worth the time and effort it takes to pull the lever to vote against them?

— I’d consider my life complete, if I could fold a fitted sheet.

— There is no question the country needs health-care reform, but putting the government in charge of health care is not the answer.
