PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. ” Sophomre Henry Mabbett shot a 1-over-par 37 to lead the Spalding High boys golf team to a second-place finish Wednesday in its first three-way match this season.
Troup County High School shot a 164 to win the affair held at Callaway Gardens, while Harris County fashioned a 184 to place third.
Rounding out Spalding’s lineup were: Caleb King with a 43, Marshall Voight with a 44, Byron Kenney with a 45, Davin White with a 46 and Tyler Jones with a 46.
Spalding, coached by Rusty Hudson, plays its next match Monday at Callaway Gardens against Harris County High School.
