ATLANTA - Elem Ibiam scored 13 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and had 5 blocks and Shakeva Richards had 12 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks to lead fourth-place Spalding High past second-place Jackson-Atlanta 42-38 Tuesday night in Region 4-AAA girls basketball action.
It was the third win in a row for Spalding (13-5 overall, 8-4 region), which drew a split with Jackson-Atlanta (13-6, 9-3) which snapped a two-game win streak.
