City of Griffin will be closed Monday, Sept. 1 in observance of Labor Day. The holiday refuse and recycling schedule is as follows: Monday’s pick up will be Tuesday; Tuesday’s pick up will be Wednesday; Wednesday’s pick up wil be Thursday; and Thursday’s pick up will be Friday.
