Kiwanis Club of Griffin special needs baseball team sign-up. Applications are now being taken for 2008 baseball season. Dauset Trails Day Camp. Openings are available for senior day camp for 13-15 year-olds. Some openings are still available for July 14-16. A donation of $75.00 is required for each participant. Spalding County 4-H Horse Club will host a Fun Show May 17 at the Kiwanis Fairgrounds. Sign up at 8:30 a.m. and competition at 10 a.m. Running classes will not begin before 3 p.m. Class for all ages. Entry fees $8 per class or $40 to ride all day. 4-H and AQHA rules will be followed. 4-H will also sponsor a yard sale on the fairgrounds at 8 a.m. Spalding County 4-H will also host the 2008 Georgia State VFW Junior 3 Position Air Rifle Championship at the Ole Mill Range Complex May 17. Open to junior competitors up to 18. Must be born on or after Jan. 1, 1989 or a member of a 2008 high school graduating class. Out of state entries are welcome and may compete for CMP EIC points only. Must be a Georgia resident to be the Georgia Champion.
