Mrs. Rachel Yvonne Ussery Parker, 54, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007, at Southern Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Parker was born June 3, 1953, in Fulton County, to Mrs. Lula D. Ussery and the late Eirvan G. Ussery. She was also preceded in death by sisters, June Hitt and Eunice McFarlin; and brother, Benjamin Ussery. She attended North Griffin Congregational Holiness Church.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Parker; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Chris Terrell of Concord; son, Michael Parker of Concord; grandchildren, Kristen Parker and Kaitlyn Parker; mother, Lula Ussery of Union City; sisters, Esther Alger of Hampton, Remona Mulvey of Hampton, Brenda Parker of Union City, Kay Price of Newnan and Darlene Norton of Newnan; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel Ussery Parker will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The Rev. Gene Luke and the Rev. Wayne Powell will officiate. Interment will follow in Holly Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
