Mr. Wendell Homer Story, 54, of Zebulon, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at his residence.

Mr. Story was born Oct. 29, 1954, son of the late Homer Story and Evelyn Durden Story. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church and the Georgia Rifleman’s Association.

Survivors include his wife, Machandra Story; daughters and son-in-law, Angela and Ryan McSpadden and Dara Story; grandchildren, Jack, Luke and Kate McSpadden; mother, Evelyn Story, all of Zebulon; and cousins, Randy Parham and Mike Phillips. Several aunts, uncles and other family members also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Wendell Homer Story will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at Oak Hill Baptist Church. Dr. Steve Stewart and the Rev. Rocky Stubbs will officiate. Interment will follow in the Zebulon Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, at the funeral home.
