The “Save A Life Benefit 5-Stop Poker Run” will begin with an 11 a.m. registration Saturday at Kevin’s Korner Bar, 1580 Williamson Road.

It will end at WindWalkers Motorcycle Clubhouse off Dutchman Road at Old Sapelo Road.

The purpose of the run is to raise money for a kidney transplant for Debbie Manderson.

The cost of the transplant is $250,000 and Manderson has no insurance. She must raise $85,000 just to get on the transplant list.

The cost of the ride is $10 per hand and $5 for each additional hand.

For the family, Manderson’s kidney disease has been particularly hard. She lost her husband to kidney cancer in December.

Donations to the fund can be made by visiting www.transplant.org and searching for Debbie Manderson or mailing them to National Foundation for Transplants, Re: One Dollar Wish, 1595 Peachtree Parkway, Suite 203, Cumming, GA 30041.
