Rotary Club of Griffin presents Hunt cup

Allen Edwards proudly accepted the Hunt Cup from Griffin Rotary Club President Dick Brooks in recognition of the work of Edwards and his Literacy Committee this past year. The Griffin Rotary Club received a number of awards at the recent District 6900 Convention for literacy projects. In presenting the award, Brooks said that Edwards “did whatever he was asked to do during the year and more.” The Hunt Cup has been awarded annually since 1939 to the committee deemed most effective at accomplishing and exceeding its goals and objectives for the year.
