Mr. Glenn Arnold Garner, age 61, of Griffin, passed away Friday March 15, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Garner was born on March 18, 1951. He was the son of the late Arnold and Mattie Garner. He was a member of the East Griffin Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Garner; son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Gail Garner; son and fiancé, Benjamin Garner and Sandra Cosper; daughter and fiancé, Glenda Garner and Adam Stephens; adopted daughter and her son, Andrea and Ryan Dawson; grandson, Christopher Garner; step-grandson and fiancé, Robby Thomas and Ashley James; step-grandson, “Tater” Thomas; 3 step great-grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Duckett, Erlein Garner, and Beatrice Carr; brother, Eugene Garner.

Funeral Services for Mr. Glenn Arnold Garner will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary of the East Griffin Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Killingsworth will officiate. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from noon until the service hour at the church.

Ms. Harriet Gale Rowland, age 65 of Hampton, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Ms. Rowland was born in Dublin, Georgia on May 16, 1947. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry C. Rowland and Mary Alice Fain Rowland. Ms. Rowland was a 1966 graduate of Griffin High School and formerly worked for the Atlanta Army Depot.

Survivors include brothers and sisters-in-law, James E. and Jean Rowland, Tommy and Laurie Rowland, Kim Rowland; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Ms. Harriet Gale Rowland will be on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, funeral services will be conducted at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Mrs. June Kilgore Tuggle, age 72 of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Tuggle was born in Lovejoy, Georgia, on June 24, 1940. She is preceded in death by her parents, Loring Kilgore and Penny Kennedy Kilgore; great great granddaughter, Alexa Hernandez. Mrs. Tuggle was retired from Griffin Resa, loved animals, playing the piano and traveling. She was a member of Pomona United Methodist Church.

Survivors include husband, Danny Tuggle; sons and daughters-in-law, Franklin and Lesa Allen, Scott and Veronica Tuggle, John Tuggle; daughters and son-in-law, Angie Nelms, Susan and Nick Daniele; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Pomona United Methodist Church. Reverend Gene Walton will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
