Robert Wayne Piersall, 51, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 9, 2013. He was born on Aug. 7, 1961, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Raymond Gene Piersall and Joyce May Piersall.
Robert owned Piersall’s Exclusive Trim. He was a member of Garfield Park Baptist Church, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Robert is survived by his wife, Cynthia Piersall; sons, Shea Sey (Linda) Piersall, and Seth Lee Piersall; granddaughter, Sadie Lynn Piersall; siblings, Vicky Piersall Reams, Donald Ray Piersall, Lynn Ann (David) Piersall Atkinson, Vicki Shelton, Candy Piersall Hurley, Jeff L. Piersall, and Kay Landers; stepmother, Mary Jo Piersall; mother-in-law, Pat (Hank) Snow; brother-in-law, Mark (Karen) Gariepy; stepbrother-in-law, Douglas Gressett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 at G.H. Herrmann East Street Funeral Home, 1505 S. East St., Indianapolis, followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m.
Local visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 15 at Haisten McCullough Funeral Home, 1155 Everee Inn Road, Griffin, Ga. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. in Westwood Gardens.
Robert will be laid to rest in Westwood Cemetery, Griffin, Ga.

Henry Thomas Shields, 81, of Buckhead, formerly of Griffin, died March 10, 2013.
He was born Oct. 11, 1931, to the late James Daniel and Era Hogan Shields. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Lamar Shields, daughter, Sherry Shields Kiepe, and son-in-law, Gary Meador.
Mr. Shields is survived by his wife of 59 years Marilyn Dailey Shields, son Michael Thomas Shields (Giselle) of Monticello, Steven Henry Shields of Florida, daughter Pamela Shields Meador of Cadiz, Ky., grandchildren Christopher Malley of Kennesaw, Ga., Michelle Rice of Houston, Texas, Tammatha Dunn (Scott) of Cadiz, Ky., Jonathan Leudenburg (Heather) of Ocean Springs, Miss., seven great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Judith Y. Shields, brothers-in-law Lawrence Dailey (Melba) of Fayetteville, Ga., Ed Dailey (Ann) of McDonough, Ga., and Raynard Dailey of Fayetteville, Ga.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. at Carver Road Baptist Church in Griffin on Thursday, March 14, 2013. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Mr. Nathaniel Clark, age 64 of Griffin, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013.
Mr. Clark was born in Jackson, Georgia on January 7, 1949. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sally Kate Dumas Clark, his parents Charlie Lee Clark and Inez Butler Clark; sisters, Ellenna Clark Taylor, Mattie Clark, Mary Lou Ward, Juanita Clark, brothers, Willie (Bopeep) Clark, Bob Clark, Jerry Clark, Charles Clark, James Wise. Mr. Clark was a 1966 graduate of Henderson High School, was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in Vietnam from 1968-1970. Following his service in the Navy, Nathaniel joined the Georgia National Guard and retired from there after 17 years of service. Mr. Clark had received his Masters in Criminal Justice, was an LPN and CNA, having retired from the GA Dept. of Correction, GA Diagnostic and Classification Center in Jackson, GA. He was a member of the Middle GA Note Singers, Middle GA Deacon Alliance, Middle GA Ussery Association, Bessie Bible Study Group at Fairmont, Georgia Peace Officers Association and was substitute teacher for Griffin-Spalding School System. Mr. Clark was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Sonya Clark; granddaughter, Amaya Clark; mother-in-law, Ruth Dumas Stinson; brother, Joe Lester Clark; sisters, Matilda Walker, Rosette Clark Gray, Barbara Clark Moffett, Geraldine Clark Martin and husband Ivory; special nephews, Darrell Lamont Clark and Keith Moffett; sisters-in-law, Annie Grace May and Phyllis Wise; host other nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Nathaniel Clark will be on Thursday, March 14, 2013from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00am at Rock Creek Baptist Church in 2051 S. Hwy 41, Flovilla, GA. Reverend J.H. Miller will officiate. Mrs. Mary Ruth Hanson, 74, of Brooks, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Fayette Community Hospital.
Mrs. Hanson was born July 30, 1938 in Brooks to the late Wilson Haynes and the late Leola Dingler Haynes. She was a member of Brooks United Methodist Church. She retired from the City of Brooks where she served as City Clerk for over 20 years and served on Brooks City Counsel a number of years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Hanson.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Amy Hanson, Bill and Amber Hanson and John Hanson all of Brooks; step-daughters, Kay Glover of Newnan, Kathy Proctor of Palmetto; grandchildren, Ashley Hanson, Meagan Hanson, Jonathan Smith, Christopher Hanson, Maryn Hanson, James Beaupry, Jeremy Hanson, Ronni Walden, Kayden Hanson; aunt, Emily Dingler; and cousins, Bill Dingler, Jim Dingler and Gerald Woolsey.

Funeral services for Mr. Lewis H. Beck Jr., 91, of Bobolink Avenue, North Augusta, S.C, who entered into rest March 11, 2013, will be conducted this Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the Fairview Presbyterian Church. Dr. Robert F. Fuller Jr., Dr. G. Daniel McCall and Dr. John R. Wall officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Park with Veterans Honors.
Mr. Beck was a native of Tarboro, N.C., a former resident of Griffin, Ga., having made North Augusta his home for the past 60 years. He was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church where he had served as an dlder and men’s Sunday School class teacher. Mr. Beck was a World War II Army Air Corp veteran, having served in England, attended Georgia Tech where he was a member of the KA Fraternity and was a graduate of the Southern Technical Institute. He retired after 35 years of service with E.I. DuPont Company at the Savannah River Plant as a project engineer.
Mr. Beck enjoyed gardening, camping at the lake, playing golf, riding motorcycles and woodworking having made toys for his grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Timothy Williams Beck.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Louise L. Beck; a son and daughter-in-law, Lewis and Joy Beck III, of Clemson, S.C; four daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and John Wall, Aiken, Lynda and Robert Lance, of North Augusta; Brenda and David Reiter, Hastings, Minn. and Rebecca and Mike Ward, of North Augusta; 12 grandchildren, Paul Miskelly, John Wall, Josh Wall, Laurel Wall, Joseph Reiter, Martha Wellington, Ben Reiter, Amber Beck, Katherine Lee Beck, Michelle Beck, Rachel Ward and Alex Ward; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Emily Weathers, Atlanta.
