Anna Kathryn Walston scored 16, Dana Rose added 11 and Maggie Midkiff chipped in with 10 as Mount de Sales (16-2) won its second in a row and for the third time in the last four games. Class AA Griffin Christian (7-10), meanwhile, lost its fourth in a row and for the sixth time in the last seven games.
Mount de Sales dominated throughout, leading 18-5 at the end of the first quarter, 37-9 at the half and 62-11 going into the fourth quarter in a game where the second half was shortened.
Griffin Christian (7-10 overall, 1-3 region)continues its season 6 p.m., Monday at home against Piedmont Academy (5-8 overall, 2-1 region) in GISA Region 4-AA action.
