Mr. Willie Lee “Buddy” Brannon Jr., 69, of Griffin passed away on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at the Brightmoor Hospice.
Mr. Brannon was born on Jan.15, 1943 in Griffin. He was the son of the late Willie Lee Brannon Sr. and Willie Mae “Bill” Grantham Brannon. Mr. Brannon along with his late wife, Anne, owned and operated Buddy’s Shell for 21 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Campbell Brannon, sister, Yvonne House.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Derrell Daniels, Anna and Bo Hooper; sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Michelle Brannon, Christopher and Margaret Ann Brannon; grandchildren; Campbell, Caroline, Claire, Brannon, Carlie Bo, Evie Jane, Jaxsen, Marissa, Grant, and Hailee; brother-in-law, Bill House.
Funeral services for Mr. Willie Lee “Buddy” Brannon Jr. will be held on Sunday, Dec.9, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary of the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Kevin Lobello will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Richard Kenneth Brannon, Sr. age 72 of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Sacred Journey Hospice.
Mr. Brannon was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 4, 1940. He is preceded in death by his parents, Millard Brannon and Bertha Carey Brannon. He was retired from the United States Navy with over 20 years of service and also retired from GSA, and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia B. Brannon; children; Richard K, Brannon, Jr. and his wife, Mary; Buffy McLoughlin and her husband, Robbie; grandchildren, Ashley Brannon, Georgia Brannon, R.K. Brannon, Brittany Brannon; sister, Laverne Mitchell; brothers, Tony Brannon, Dennis Brannon; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Richard Kenneth Brannon will be on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 3:00pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Reverend Scott Hollingsworth will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with Military Honors.

Mr. Hillmon L. Davis, 83, of Griffin, passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, in Brightmoor Hospice.
Mr. Davis was born in Evergreen, Ala. on Sept. 21, 1929, to the late Hugh F. and Mattie Williams Davis. He owned and operated Shoe Village and Shoe World as well as spent many years traveling in retail sales. Mr. Davis was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean War. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he was in the Bramblett-Cheatham Sunday School Class.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Davis as well as a sister, Avril Finke.
Survivors include a daughter and a son, Julia Goodman of Stockbridge and Wyatt Davis of Griffin; sister, Nelda Leonard of Foley, Ala.; Grandchildren, Bridget Binder of Johns Creek, Micah Harrison of Newnan and Ryan Davis of Griffin; three great-grandchildren and dear life-long friend Joyce Braxton of Marietta also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Hillmon L. Davis will be conducted on Sunday Dec. 9, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Dr. Bill Hardee will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-8 p.m.

Mrs. Deborah M. Lummus, age 61 of Griffin passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Spalding Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Lummus was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 9, 1951. She is preceded in death by her father, Troy Mays. Mrs. Lummus formerly worked at Dundee Mills and was a member of First Baptist Church of Griffin.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy L. Lummus; son, Brett Jones and fiancée, Halley; step son, Jimmy Lummus, Jr.; grandchildren, Tristy Jones, Zoey Lummus; mother, Dorothy Mays; sisters, Sherrie Stevens and husband, Daryl, Terri Mays; nieces and nephew, Brooke Stevens, Curt Stevens, Lindsey Stevens.
