Mr. David Franklin Yarbrough, age 52 of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2012.
Mr. Yarbrough was born in Griffin, Georgia on December 13, 1959. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton E. Yarbrough and Annie Pearl Calhoun Yarbrough. He was employed with Western Finance, and was a member of Grace Fellowship Church.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda S. Yarbrough; children, David Yarbrough, Devin Michelle Ward; step daughter, Allison Nicole Rogers; grandchildren, Robyn Halley Yarbrough, Cameron Rogers; sisters, Linder Dunn, Jacqui Clark, Vivian Messer and husband, Henry, Peggy Mead and husband, Ronnie; brother, Eddie Yarbrough and wife, Martha; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 4:00pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Mark Messer will officiate. Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Jesse Calvin Johnson

Mr. Jesse Calvin Johnson, 87 of Griffin, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Johnson was born Dec. 14, l924, to the late Jesse and Jessie Tucker Johnson. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in by his first wife, Margaret Johnson and son, Michael Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Johnson of Griffin; daughters, Juanita Smith and Phyllis Johnson of Griffin; son, Joseph Johnson also of Griffin; brother, Cyrus Johnson of South Carolina; step-sons, David Lombardo of Griffin and Thomas Lombardo of New York and step-daughter, Michelle Summers of Meansville. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Jesse Charles Johnson will be held Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012 from 4–7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Nettie Mae Puckett, 80, of 1170 Teamon Road, Griffin, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at Spalding Regional Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date by McDowell’s Funeral Home, Inc., 305 N. Hill St., Griffin.
