Griffin is a wonderful place to live, offering no shortage of interesting things to do, and frequent examples of exceptional people rising above even our best expectations.
Last week’s season-opening performance of the Griffin Choral Arts is an excellent case in point, providing something for everybody with its diverse offering of gospel music.
This group consistently brings our community the very best of all types of choral music, and last week’s inclusion of the Griffin High School Chorus, directed by the enthusiastic and impressive James Lindsey, was, as the young folks say, just awesome. This group of talented young people exceeded all expectations, and if they are representative of what our local high schools are producing, we can all be very proud.
