A potential buyer is looking get the alcohol ban lifted at the Country Rock.

Justin Wynn has once again asked the Spalding County Commissioners to lift the one-year ban on alcohol sales at the Country Rock Bar & Grill on North Expressway. Wynn, a former employee at the club, is considering buying the property from current owner William Plemmons to operate a country and southern rock music night club bar and grill.

Wynn addressed the board last month during public comments and was at Monday’s meeting with Plemmons to address the board again about what could be done to lift the prohibition on the property. The one-year ban was imposed in March following a license revocation after repeated violations including sale to someone under 21 by the previous license holder.
