• After reading Tom Purcell’s column “Economic freedom heads north” in the Oct. 3 Griffin Daily News, how could anyone with common sense ever think about voting for Obama?
• Biden seems like he needs to be retired.
• The other day I went to the bank on my lunch hour and the place was filled with octogenarians. Someone should open a bank just for senior citizens, so that they can dawdle around without getting in the way of the rest of us.
• The first Romney-Obama football game is over. Score: Romney 48, Obama 0.
• No, we complaining nimrods have to be here to keep you government Kool-Aid-drinking nimrods in check.
• After watching the debate, I think this country will have a new president.
• I get tired of people making bad comments about Obama. He’s the greatest person of all time.
• This country needs to
go to a one-party system because the Republicans don’t care about people. The Democrats really care and want to help people.
• We have to stop putting our hopes and dreams in the government and these politicians. We need to turn to God. He is the answer.
• I heard Georgia Tech is going to get a new theme song, “Born to Lose.”
• The city and county need to promote tourism more. We have a fine General Griffin statue and if we actually promoted it, tourists would flock to Griffin to see it.

• Republicans are liars. The other day I heard someone say that Republicans were the ones who pushed to end slavery. That can’t be true because Republicans don’t care about civil rights.

• We need to stop idolizing athletes, actors and movie stars and start recognizing people who truly make a difference in our society, like policemen, firemen, military, nurses and teachers.
