Rohnshon Johnson scored two touchdowns and Asaunte Rayford added an extra point to lead the Colts 13-0 win against the Bengals in Piedmont Youth Football League 7/8 Division action. This game was especially devastating considering the Bengals’ 18-6 win over the Redskins just two weeks ago.

SATURDAYS

11/12 Division

Lions 35, Butts County Red Devils #2 6:

Jaden Jones and Octavious Grier each scored twice as the Lions defeated the Red Devils at Volunteer Park. It was the third straight week in which Grier crossed the pylons, and Jones added two extra points to go along with a touchdown and extra point scored by Tyreese Haugabrooks. Tyler Smith put the only points on the board for the Red Devils.

Jets 27, Butts County Red Devils #1 18:

Xavic Flynt, Qwinderious Peavy, and Rasheed Reid each scored to pull away from the Red Devils, but not without opposition from To’ To Smith, Andrew Barnes, and Laderrick Johnson.

9/10 Division

Chiefs 6, Bills 0:

Andrew Whitner sealed the shutout for the Chiefs late in the fourth quarter with a clutch touchdown run.

Ravens 20, Panthers 0:

Brandon Calloway, Terrell Jester, and Javian Leeks all ran in touchdowns for the Ravens as they held the Panthers scoreless. They shined in the first half, scoring six points in the first quarter and adding 8 in the second.

7/8 Division

Redskins 7, Jaguars 6:

Donavious Myles added both the lone touchdown and extra point for the Redskins in the first quarter against the Panthers. In the fourth, Craig Woods attempted to bring his team back with a score of his own, but they failed to convert the extra point.

CORRECTION:

The wrong player was given credit for a touchdown scored on Sept. 22 between the 49ers and Panthers. The person who scored for the 49ers was Amario Flendal. The Griffin Daily News regrets the error and any confusion it may have caused.
