Jamiro Winston and Christian Salvador scored two touchdowns each as Skipstone Academy amassed a season-high 47 points in a 47-6 homecoming win Friday against visiting Home School Depot in a Glory for Christ League crossover game.

It was the second win in a row for Skipstone (2-4 overall, 0-2 Glory for Christ East), while HSD (2-3, 1-1 GFC West) lost its second in a row.

Winston started the fireworks on a 46-yard touchdown run midway through the first quarter. HSD’s Jamal Crisp scored on a 68-yard reverse to tie the game 7-all, but it was all Skipstone from there.

Anthony Peavy returned the ensuing kick 55 yards for a touchdown, Winston and Salvador added 20-yard scoring runs and Colby Polk returned an interception 15 yard for another score to leave the Warriors up 33-6 at the half. Salvador scored his final touchdown of the night on his team’s last drive of the third quarter to put the game out of reach.

Skipstone continues its season Friday when it hosts North Atlanta at Warrior Field.
