SHS JROTC promotes 16 cadets to leaders

The Spalding High School (SHS) Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) held its annual Leaders Installation Ceremony Tuesday at the school, promoting 16 cadets into leadership positions.

“It’s a great honor to work with these young men and women standing before you, because they are transforming into better citizens of the United States of America,” said the new battalion commander, Lt. Col. Alteria Yarbrough, in her remarks to the many people in the audience.
