When police officers arrived at the scene, they made contact with a female — later identified as 30-year-old Carsahta Arnold, of Griffin — who stated that her friend had called her over to talk.
According to a GPD incident report, Arnold stated that her friend — a 22-year-old male — became irate and punched her in her face when she got there. Arnold further stated that she then began fighting him, as he reportedly grabbed her hair and continued to hit her in her face. Police observed a knot on Arnold’s left eye.
Officers then spoke to the male, who told police that he was walking along North 16th Street when Arnold drove up behind him and tried to hit him with her vehicle. When he jumped onto the curb to avoid being hit by the vehicle, Arnold reportedly got out of her car and started a fight with him.
