Kiwanis Club gets update on schools

Curtis Jones, superintendent of the Griffin-Spalding County School System gave a state of system update to the Kiwanis Club of Griffin Wednesday.

Jones touted some of the recent achievements including the local school system being named a Georgia Title I Distinguished School District.

“We were named best in the state for systems with 10,000 or more students,” Jones said.
