“The Walking Dead” will be back in town next week,

Mike Riley, location manager for Stalwart Films, received permission from Spalding County on Monday to close Line Creek Road bridge next week for two days for filming for the AMC television series “The Walking Dead.” He requested the road be closed to through traffic and the bridge be closed overnight for filming.

“The main reason is a safety issue for our crew,” Riley said.

He was also trying to avoid having to take down and set up the equipment as well as keep the public away out of concerns about information and images about episodes getting out. Spectators will be kept at a distance to prevent any unauthorized still or video photography from taking place, due to pre-publicity and confidentiality concerns.
