This was the first of six clues that aired Thursday night on 88.9 FM The Rock, as the annual Great Bulldawg Hunt kicked off after sunset. Allen and Christie Harris, of Griffin, happened to be in the parking lot of the BB&T bank on West Taylor Street when the clue was read on the radio.

Still, it took them about 15 minutes to find the stuffed animal at the bank’s drive-through area, said Christy Harris, who has been participating in the Bulldawg Hunt for several years. By the time she and Allen Harris had finally found the bulldog, BB&T’s parking lot was packed with people searching for it, she said.
