ACCAB looks to increase adoptions

One of the purposes of the Spalding County Animal Care and Control Advisory Board is to keep adoptable animals from being put down.

At Monday’s meeting, the members of the advisory board were again discussing ways to get more animals adopted out of the county shelter. Animal Control Director Brent Foster explained some of the issues with having community adoptions, which were primarily financial as well as liability concerns if the animals get sick.
