We are reminded daily of just how caring the people of Spalding County are and how fortunate we are to live in Griffin. Most recently the clients and employees of Edward Jones Investments donated a cache of supplies to Beaverbrook and Cowan Road Elementary schools. Those supplies were earmarked to ease the financial burden that teachers face while helping their students. Most teachers reach into their own pockets to purchase supplies for their students. The donated supplies that both schools received will go directly to the children. A special “thank you” goes out to Jim Burgess, Brandon Behenna and Patrick McEwen of Edward Jones Investments. We greatly appreciate your generosity.
