• I saw where Ms. Norris conceded the election. I expect Ms. Hunt won because of her experience in office, among other things. I also think Ms. Norris’ concession demonstrates she is a class act. Thank you, Kaye.

• Too many people here have “Small-Town Big Shot Syndrome,” that they are a big fish in a small pond, and think they’re better than everybody else. If you’re not with the “in crowd,” you had better know your place in society, and then if you leave Griffin, they will criticize you and scorn you for not staying in the greatest place on the face of the earth.

• I truly admire Dan Cathy for staying strong in his Christian faith by taking a stand for traditional marriage, in spite of opposition. To all my fellow citizens and Christians in Spalding County, go to Chick-fil-A and Truett’s whenever you get a chance and eat more chicken.

• Now that T-SPLOST is dead, the next thing we need to kill is Obamacare.

• Who else is looking forward to football season? There’s nothing like college football.

• Elected officials, whether they are local, state or national, need to be held accountable to the people.

That's right Spalding County....go to Chick-Fil-A and Truett's.....show everyone that you support the imprisonment and execution of gay people. Support the idea that they are all pedophiles and mentally ill. If you really want to live the message of Jesus, take that money you would spend at C-F-A and Truett's and donate it to your local homeless shelter...or provide a meal for the women's shelter...or buy an underprivileged kid some new school clothes.

I think people in Spalding County are actually more concerned with Afghan girls being murdered and poisoned for attending school than they are about imprisionment and execution of gay people. Quit your hateful bully rants. People are tired of it.

Bob, you and all the other gays, have to be the most ignorant people on the face of the earth. All Dan Cathy said is what he believes. I personally have the same beliefs. I don't as he does not discriminate against them, it's just his belief and the way a true christian was raised. I don't believe in divorce either, but have twice. Why would I want to support the local homeless shelter, when they could go out and get a job and work on their own. Look, I have been in public safety 20 years and have seen these homeless people take money and drink their selves to death. I would not give the one red cent...
