• Democratic heath care law — Obama-don’t-care.

• When the Democratic Party can’t run a man for president on his or their record, can you guess what they do? They play the oldest game alive, blame the other person for all the wrongs in the U.S. Three and a half years of this man and double the national debt by $7 trillion.

• Obama is the real Manchurian candidate.

• There is one sport that is less manly than soccer: men’s gymnastics. It is kind of embarrassing watching those guys prance around in their tight little outfits.

• The people who are against the T-SPLOST should move down to South Georgia. There are a lot of dirt roads down there. They would like it there.

• All promises of impartiality at the Farm Bureau Candidates Forum were shattered when pro-T-SPLOST brochures were inserted into the programs handed out at the door.

• Obama’s pants are on fire.

• I keep hearing that raising taxes in a recession is a bad idea, so why are Republicans going around Spalding County pushing T-SPLOST, which will raise our taxes?

• Obama is nothing but a Chicago mafia thug who never had a real job.

• Comments will only get positive when Obama and the T-SPLOST are defeated.

• OK, I don’t know who you are, but hopefully the people I’ve taken the crate to will be able to pull prints or DNA from it and then we could all know who you are. How dare you sneak on to our property at any time, but this time, while we were at church, and dump your three kittens on our front porch. I really, really hope we are able to catch you.

• If you found a small, brown dog in the neighborhood of Beatty, Ridge, Upland, Mobley, Lucky Street or Old Atlanta Road on Thursday, July 12, please bring him home. He is part of our family. We love him very much and we are heartsick. Somehow he got out of the fence and got lost while we were away. He lives at 1706 Ridge St., or you can leave him at the pound and we will find him.

• When I heard about the “Cow Appreciation Day,” I thought it meant a beauty contest was going to be held in Griffin.

• The president’s campaign says Mitt Romney is a felon, and the administration will not back off their position. OK, so, what about your “real” birth certificate, your college transcripts, “any” friends you had in college and your Chicago ties to many suspect groups? Wanna tell us some real news?

• The Sixth Street bridge is a stupid mistake of being fixed, spending taxpayers’ money, while the roads in the city of Griffin are in need of repair very badly. Maybe we need new people on the city council. The ones we have seem to have their heads screwed on wrong.

• To all voters everywhere: Remember to vote for someone who will protect our rights and who will stay true to the U.S. Constitution. This includes the right to keep and bear arms. And beware of anyone who thinks that they can take away our rights by adding on to or taking off what was originally written in the U.S. Constitution.

• It’s hard to be positive with My Two Cents. Griffinites go out of their way to be rude, mean and uncaring and ungiving. We have plenty of churches and pastors and people of the word of God. It’s bless you on Sunday and dump on you come Monday. It’s really bad. Can’t walk up the road anymore without some insult coming out the window of another never-do-well person.

• I’m tired of hearing people complain about boys wearing baggy pants, people playing their music too loud, and what all was wrong with the 2012 BET Awards. To each his own when it comes to that kind of stuff. There are much bigger things to worry about, such as unemployment rates, high school dropouts, gay marriage, teen pregnancy, and the upcoming presidential election.

• Vote “no” for T-SPLOST. We already have enough roads and too many taxes.

• I think Obama is way too power hungry. He wants complete control of everything, using his “executive power” to pass bills without Congress’ or we the people’s approval. Enough is enough. I think it’s time for King Obama’s reign to come to an end.

• Has anyone else noticed that many of the people who slump over their shopping carts in the stores are not elderly people with disabilities, but rather young people wearing baggy pants?

Marxism taught me what society was. I was like a blindfolded man in a forest, who doesn't even know where north or south is. If you don't eventually come to truly understand the history of the class struggle, or at least have a clear idea that society is divided between the rich and the poor, and that some people subjugate and exploit other people, you're lost in a forest, not knowing anything."

If Soccer and Men's Gymnastics are scissy sports, Where does Wrasslin rank? Roided up Greased men in Leotards? And I've been told it's all fake.

How about those swimmers in their Speedos, cyclists in spandex, golfers in plaid shorts, and football players patting each other on the butt? Looks like sports are for sissies. I guess real men stay home and play video games.

The sports you speak of are NOT sissy sports at all. Those guys worked hard to get where they are and should be admired. I'm sure they didn't get where they are by staying home, being lazy and playing video games. I must say a man who stays home and plays video games just isn't a "real man". So, no need to be all jealous of the male athletes. Get off your hiney and get movin man! LOL

Oops! I guess my attempt at sarcasm missed its mark. In truth, I think calling any sport a sissy sport is ridiculous, and I respect anyone who participates. I also recognize that the choice of sport is a matter of personal preference and has nothing to do with degree of manhood. . . .Sorry!

All political thinking for years past has been vitiated in the same way. People can foresee the future only when it coincides with their own wishes, and the most grossly obvious facts can be ignored when they are unwelcome.
