Authorities asking for help locating two missing persons

The Spalding County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help locating two missing persons.

Tiffany Jean Thomas, 19, was last seen at 2317 N. Walkers Mill Road, Griffin, on June 21. She has brown hair, blue eyes, stands 5’02”, weighs 130 pounds and was was last seen wearing a pink shirt and gray sweat shorts, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Thomas was also driving a charcoal gray Honda Accord with worn paint and both rear corner windows broken out. The vehicle also has two front black hub caps and one silver rear hub cap.

According to the missing person alert, Thomas has a known drug problem and may be with an unknown male subject, “Cody.”

Anyone who knows the whereabouts or has seen Tiffany Jean Thomas is asked to contact Spalding County Sheriff’s Investigator Paige Holmes at 770-467-4282.

On behalf of the family of Dennis James Johnson, the Sheriff’s Office is asking for the help of the community in locating him. Johnson, 55, is a disabled veteran that has been missing since March 1, 2012.

The family stated that he may be with his sister, somewhere in Hampton, Ga. Johnson is described as 5’11” inches tall, 180 pound black male with black hair and brown eyes and 90 percent disabled.

Sheriff Wendell Beam said Johnson comes from a very large family and his parents are elderly and very concerned.
