Southern Crescent Technical College (SCTC) received the keys to two 2012 Kia Optimas last week during a ceremony at Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia (KMMG) facility at West Point.

The two vehicles, which were presented to SCTC President Randall Peters, will be used in the college’s automotive technology programs, according to a press release by Southern Crescent.

“We are most appreciative to KMMG for their generous donation to Southern Crecent Technical College,” Peters said. “These vehicles will greatly enhance our students’ experience by providing them with the latest automotive technology and allow them hands-on exposure to the complex technologies on today’s cars.”
