GDOT answers questions on roundabout

Georgia Department of Transportation officials on Tuesday fielded questions from a steady stream of residents concerned about the proposed roundabout on Georgia Highway 16.

Anthony Dukes, transportation planner for the Three Rivers Regional Commission, said there were about 10 people at the open house at any given time during the two-hour session. Attendees asked questions about the traffic signal and other projects in the area. These projects include a signal and turn lanes at the Rover-Zetella Road four-way intersection with Highway 16.
